Gtown Isn’t Brown
I’m Mazzie, an IBC. I started this account August 2022 before I left for my freshman year of college in Boston, MA. I love this island, and exploring all it has to offer. Once I came up with the name for this account I was all in. It was the perfect way to share photos and make content, while dispelling the popular belief that Galveston doesn’t have pretty water days.
In the summers while I’m home from school I wait tables at the West End Marina. This past summer of ‘24 I interned at Visit Galveston and learned from the pros that market this awesome place. I had a blast and found a new interest in working in the tourism industry.
I love messing around and creating new ideas with this brand and have been so thankful to meet so many people through it.
